Terms and Conditions

We’re committed to providing a beautiful, welcoming venue that couples can enjoy with the flexibility to create a wedding that feels entirely their own.

Because of this, we are pleased to offer the option to use our venue without on-site supervision for venue viewings, rehearsals, and your wedding day, should you choose to book.

On the day of your wedding, the venue will be attended by a grounds person with general knowledge of the property, including lighting, sound, and basic facilities. This person is not responsible for ceremony coordination or event management, but is available to answer questions related to use of the venue’s facilities.

With this level of access comes shared responsibility. By entering the venue, you and your guests agree to comply with the Terms & Conditions outlined below in relation to venue viewings, rehearsals, and the day of your wedding.

1. Viewings

We offer venue viewings of up to 30 minutes for groups of no more than 12 people.

How to make a booking

To secure a booking to view our venue, a $200 deposit is required.

After your viewing, this deposit will be refunded to the card used to make the booking. The deposit may be retained if:

  • your viewing exceeds the booked time, or

  • you do not adhere to the terms outlined below.

All viewings must be booked in advance via our online booking system. We do not accept bookings made via email or phone.

Liability and responsibility

To help protect the venue and ensure your safety, we kindly ask that you remain within the permitted areas of the property at all times. Children must be supervised at all times.

Venue viewings are self-guided, meaning you are responsible for your conduct during your booked time on the property. Any damage or mess caused during the viewing (or while you are on the property) will be charged to you.

We reserve the right to recover the full cost of any repair, replacement, or additional cleaning required, even where this amount exceeds the $200 deposit.

Security and CCTV

For the safety of the property and to ensure bookings occur within their allocated times, the venue is monitored by CCTV.

CCTV footage may also be reviewed in the event of damage to the venue. By entering the property, you and any guests attending your viewing consent to being recorded.

2. Rehearsals

Rehearsals are available at the venue and are booked on a first-come, first-served basis via our online booking system only. All rehearsals are self-guided.

To secure a rehearsal booking, a $200 deposit is required. This deposit will be refunded to the card used for booking, but may be retained if:

  • your rehearsal exceeds the booked time, or

  • you do not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

The same conditions outlined above for venue viewings apply to rehearsals, including liability for damage and consent to CCTV recording. The booking party is responsible for the conduct of all attendees during the rehearsal.

3. Wedding Venue Hire – Day of Wedding Terms & Conditions

Venue access and transport

Venue hire is from 10:00am to 10:00pm on the day of the wedding. This includes all setup time and any supplier access to the site.

All guests must arrive and depart via bus or coach transport only. The five car spaces in our small car park are reserved exclusively for wedding suppliers and ceremony vendors.

Parking is not permitted along adjacent roads, as this may be hazardous.

All guests must vacate the premises by 10:00pm. In practical terms, guest transport should be scheduled for approximately 9:45pm.

Venue hire inclusions

The venue hire fee, as specified in your booking confirmation and receipt, includes:

  • use of the ceremony space

  • chapel chair hire only

  • standard post-event cleaning

  • routine gardening and grounds maintenance

  • attendance by an usher whose role is limited to:

    • unlocking and securing the premises

    • assistance with venue amenities, including:

      • lighting

      • built-in sound system

      • servery

      • general information about the grounds

The venue hire fee does not include:

  • event planning or coordination

  • celebrant services

  • catering or bar services

  • decorations, florals, styling, or furniture beyond chairs

  • audio-visual services beyond the installed sound system

  • security or guest management

  • on-site personnel beyond the usher described above

  • any services not expressly listed as included

Security deposit

As specified in our booking system, a $1,100 AUD security deposit will be authorised on your nominated credit card.

This amount will be released following inspection of the property after your wedding, provided no damage has occurred to the venue, furniture, fittings, grounds, or surrounding property. This inspection typically occurs within 48 hours, inclusive of processing time.

The security deposit will only be released to the original card used for booking.

We may withhold the security deposit if we reasonably believe damage has occurred for which you are responsible. This applies even if you dispute the damage at the time.

If damage has occurred, we may deduct an amount reflecting the loss suffered, including repair costs, replacement, additional cleaning, or loss of income if the venue becomes unusable. If costs exceed the security deposit, we reserve the right to recover the additional amount.

Liability and responsibility

You are responsible for any damage caused by you, your guests, suppliers, or contractors.

You accept full responsibility for the venue for the duration of the hire period and for ensuring all attendees comply with these Terms & Conditions.

Music and noise

No amplified music is permitted other than the venue’s installed sound system.

The hiring party is responsible for ensuring all music, sound levels, and vocal noise comply with venue rules and local regulations.

Confetti

We are in a natural, rural environment which backs onto a freshwater creek. As such we have to be diligent with what falls onto the ground, as often with the wind and environmental factors, it’s impossible to fully collect confetti. We allow natural, white flower petals only, to avoid staining, and to avoid the slip hazard associated with other natural confettis. We absolutely do not allow plastic or artificial confetti products.

Changes to your event date

We allow up to two date changes, subject to availability in our booking calendar. Any further changes will be treated as a cancellation and assessed under the cancellation policy below.

Cancellation of your event

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Within 48 hours of booking: full refund (cooling-off period)

  • After 48 hours and more than 30 days before the event: 100% of the deposit retained

  • Within 30 days of the event date: no refund

If you fail to comply with these Terms & Conditions, or we reasonably believe you do not intend to comply, we may cancel your event and deny access to the venue without refund of the venue hire fee or security deposit.
